THE ARTIFACT — TERMS

This page describes the voluntary patronage experiment associated with “The Artifact.” Participation indicates acceptance of these terms.

1. Nature of Contributions

All contributions are voluntary patronage. Contributions are not investments, purchases, deposits, or promises of future profit. No refunds are offered.

2. Threshold Mechanism

When total on-chain contributions to the published addresses reach $1,000,000 USD equivalent, as determined by the creator using public exchange rates, ownership of the artifact is determined.

3. Ownership Determination

The single contributing address with the largest cumulative contribution at the moment the threshold is declared reached becomes the Owner of the artifact. Ownership must be verified via cryptographic message signing.

4. Delivery

Upon verification, the creator intends to deliver the artifact and a signed transfer of rights to the Owner. Timing and method of delivery will be coordinated directly.

5. Good-Faith Intent

The creator undertakes this experiment in good faith with the intent to deliver the artifact upon the threshold being reached and ownership being verified.

The creator reserves the right to end or modify the experiment prior to the threshold being reached in the event of unforeseen circumstances, legal constraints, or force majeure.

If the threshold is reached and ownership is verified, the creator intends to proceed with delivery as described.

6. Artistic Nature and Quality

The artifact is an original artistic work, and no guarantees are made regarding subjective interpretation or reception.

The creator guarantees that the recording and documentation of the artifact will be produced to a professional standard consistent with high-quality musical release.

7. Optional In-Person Performance

At the Owner’s request, and subject to mutual agreement, the creator may offer an in-person meeting or live performance.

Such an event, if it occurs, is not part of the artifact itself and is not guaranteed. Any travel, scheduling, and associated arrangements would be agreed upon separately.

This option exists as a gesture of goodwill and artistic exchange, not as a contractual obligation.
